The Rollglider is an aerial ride, which combines the thrill of free falling and hang gliding into one ride, giving you a new adrenaline experience in a safe environment. The ride can be customly designed to meet all of the needs of your venue, with speed options of up to 50 km/h. The Rollglider can be added to a variety of indoor and outdoor locations. It can even be incorporated into ski resorts, where lifts can be used as a retraction system for the trolley.

The Standard Trolley is designed to work with the help of gravity. The speed that it reaches depends on the slope of the line, as well as the weight of the participant. The steeper the slope , the faster and more exhilarating the ride gets. The standard Rollglider trolley can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
In cases where there is a large slope, the speed of the trolley is regulated by a magnetic brake in the affected section of the line, or a centrofugical brake that sets an overall limit on the speed of the trolley.
An optional handlebar can be mounted to the trolley for horizontal riding, where the participant is strapped into a special harness, and released headfirst.
The Electric Trolley is designed for slower, more relaxed rides, where the Rollglider’s line has little or no inclination. The trolley is equipped with steering handles similar to those of a motorcycle. Participants can accelerate the trolley’s engine with one handle and slow it down using the brake on the other. The Electric Trolley can reach speeds of up to 11 km/h (7 mph) on its own, and up to 35 km/h (21 mph) with the help of a steep slope. In cases where the speed begins to exceed 35 km/h (21 mph) , the trolley’s motors start a braking mechanism and bring the speed back down.
Trolley Transition System
Standard Trolley Return System
The Standard Trolley Return System brings the trolley back to the starting platform for the next participant. This is the most common type of transition system and is used when the Rollglider has both a starting and finishing platform. It consists of an electric engine with a colored light indicator and two remote controls.
Once a participant finishes the ride and lands on the finishing platform , a staff member detaches him and returns the trolley back to the starting platform with the press of a button.
NEW! Chain Inclined Lifting System
The Inclined Chain Lift System is designed to transport participants from a single platform to the highest point of the Rollglider’s line, where the ride begins. Once it is safe for the participant to proceed, the trolley is released. The line finishes at the same platform, allowing facility staff members to quickly attach/detach participants.
This lifting system can transport multiple participants at the same time, allowing for optimal capacities. It reduces the number of platforms and the number of required staff members.
Safety Control System
Standard Traffic Control System
The Standard Traffic Control System is an in-house developed system that ensures the safety of participants. It consists of a traffic light, which indicates when the line is free/occupied.
A red light indicates that a participant is on the line. This automatically locks the gate, preventing other participants from being launched. Once a participant reaches the end of the line, and is safely detached from the Rollglider, a green light indicates that it is safe for the next participant to proceed.
NEW! Smart Traffic Control System
The Smart Traffic Control System ensures the safety of multiple riders. It consists of several sensor-equipped sections on the Rollglider’s line. The sensors detect the trolleys’ movement through each section, and the system calculates whether the distance between participants is safe. If a participant gets in close proximity to another rider, a magnetic brake is activated, preventing him from proceeding until the distance is safe again.
The platforms of the Rollglider are designed to lift participants up to the trolley, so that they can be easily attached to the line, and to lower them after the end of the ride. This element decreases operational time for each ride.
Openable Line Segment
An openable line segment is a gate through which Rollglider trolleys are loaded. It can be either manual or electrical.

What is the capacity of the Rollglider?
The Rollglider's capacity depends on the ride's length, trolley and trolley transition system. A Rollglider with a standard trolley retraction system and a 100 meter line can have a capacity of up to 60 people per hour.

The facility steel construction and line are designed and calculated to meet Eurocodes building standards EN1991-1-4 and EN 13814. They can be calculated according to any local building codes upon request.
